What is AIESEC?

If you have a company in Spain and you have not heard of AIESEC, I promise you it will be worth reading this article.

AIESEC is the largest youth organization in the world, we are present in more than 100 countries and territories  and we have been working and growing since 1948 , when a group of French students decided that young people should take sides to create a world in which something like World War II did not happen again. They believed that young people should become the change agents of the future, changing themselves, improving their skills, experience and intercultural understanding of the world in order to apply this knowledge in their daily action. Since then, AIESEC has defended those values ​​and has spread throughout the entire planet, creating new headquarters, uniting more and more people and increasing its impact on society to what we have now. To give some examples:

• More than 6,000 companies partner with us globally, including PWC, Microsoft, TATA, Nokia, Husqvarna, DHL and many others.

• More than 450,000 exchanges made since our foundation

• More than 70,000 members right now around the world

What exactly do we do with all these big numbers?

We offer young people leadership experiences abroad , both volunteering (teaching languages, collaborating with NGOs in projects of all kinds) and, and here we enter into the matter, internships in companies; so that they can improve as individuals and as members of society and the labor market, so that they get out of their comfort zone, and learn to contribute their knowledge and vision to something bigger than themselves. We do it, to develop young entrepreneurs and responsible for the future : young people who connect their passions with their strengths, young people who take risks, young people who can communicate effectively in diverse environments and young people who enjoy taking an active role in society.

 Companies enter this phase of our work, as social organizations that give these young people the opportunity to do all these things with a specific mission. 

How can this benefit your company?
